Eyebrows are very important. They can make or break your face and I pride myself on having naturally nice eyebrows. However, they still need a little work to look perfect, that’s where the Urban Decay Brow Blade Eyebrow Pencil & Ink Stain comes in. This is my new fave brow product and I do not think it is changing any time soon.
Regular brow pencils were not giving me the look that I wanted. I wanted something that would give a natural look to already pretty full brows and I just needed something to fill in the few sparse spots. I went searching on Sephora’s site for a brush like brow product (I hate the pomades).
I found a couple and when I went into the store to try them, I fell in love with the Urban Decay Brow Blade in the shade Dark Drapes. It is described as a “double-ended ink stain and waterproof pencil that gives you microblade-like definition and precision without the commitment.” “The revolutionary ink stain formula’s brush tip creates precise, hair-like strokes, while the creamy, waterproof pencil fills in sparse areas. It’s the ultimate temporary solution for pro-level faux brows”
Once I tried the Brow Blade I loved it. My brows looked super natural and you could not tell that they were not completely full all over. I was afraid that the shade may be too dark but the darkest shade was a deep brown and not a black so it blended perfectly with my dark brown hairs.
To use the Brow Blade I start by brushing my brow hairs to the upper corner (left for my left brow, etc.) with my spoolie. I then go in with the ink stain side and create hair like strokes going in that same direction. I then go in with the pencil side to fill in any spaces that still look a little light. After that, I blend it all out with my spoolie and I’m done!
The brush tip moves perfectly through my brows, actually covering my skin and not just the brow hairs, and the pencil has a lot of color pay off. I love how my brows look after I use it and after a long day my brows are still there. Many brow pencils fade but the Brow Blade sticks it through. I purchased it at Sephora for $26 and it comes in seven different shades.
