Hey loves! I have been working on this post for a while because it is on something that is super important to me…SHOES! If you know me then you know I’m a shoe-aholic. I have a pair for every occasion and pairs that may not even be for an occasion, but they were super cute and I had to have them. There are certain shoes that are needed in everyone’s closet so that you never have an incomplete outfit. Here is my *quick* list of essential shoes!
Lets start with boots! Its always important to have that super cute pair of heeled boots for when it is cold but you still need to have a more formal/dressy look. I purchased both of these from JustFab a few years ago, so they are no longer on the site but there are tons of similar boots out there.
I believe everyone needs a good pair of thigh high boots. They are super cute and can keep your legs warm in that mini dress when you’re waiting for your uber after the party. These are the Stunning Steps Black Suede Over The Knee Boots from Lulu*s.
Riding boots are also very important! Especially in the winter, these boots with a pair of thick socks will keep you nice and toasty. They can also be worn with a variety of outfits, from jeans and a sweater, to a skirt and cardigan. My mother purchased these so I do not know where she got them but here is a similar pair.
I LOVE heeled booties!! They are my go-to when I am going out and do not want to necessarily have my feet out. They go with a variety of different outfits and they are usually much easier to wear because of the block heel. Neither of these are available but here are a pair similar to the ones on the left, and here for the right.
Flat booties are essential for fall days, paired with a pair of cuffed jeans and a cozy sweater, you are all set. I love that I can wear these with different outfits, especially when the weather is being crazy and unpredictable. Here is a link to the pair on the left!
Everyone needs that perfect pair of pumps when you have business to attend to, or just want to look good for brunch! I personally prefer more colorful pumps rather than black just because they stand out more. I bought the blue pair from ALDO on sale so they are no longer available but here is a similar pair (also they are having 50% off on ALL sale right now!!).
Heeled sandals are an obvious must have for a full shoe closet. Perfect for going out, a casual lunch, or any other event, these shoes are an easy way to take a basic outfit up a notch. Both of these are from Missguided and they are no longer on sale but here is a similar pair!
Block heels may be my all time favorite type of shoe. They are super cute without the pain that comes with stiletto heels (the key is to find a shoe with a platform to ease the pain!) and I STAN a strappy heel! I purchased both of these from Lola Shoetique and unfortunately they are no longer available but here is a similar pair!
We all need a few pairs of sneakers for the days when we want to be more casual, have a million things to do, or just do not want to deal with a heel. I love the Huaraches because they are really cute and come in tons of different colors (Hint: the men’s shoes have a lot more color ways so find your size in those and you are good to go!), and the Roshes are really comfortable and my go-to shoe when I have a busy day.

We all need a nice pair of sandals for going out when spring finally decides to come. I love the braided design on these and I have no idea where I bought them but here is a cute pair with a slightly similar design.
Ballet flats are very essential, and because mine have gotten ugly after years of use there is no picture (Sorry!!). But here are some cute ones that I found online!
I hope this post was not too exhaustive and I hope it was helpful in some way. This is not my entire shoe collection but the styles that I felt were most important to my closet. What shoes can you absolutely not live without? Let me know in the comments down below!
